At Steadfast Church, we believe it is vital to immerse our children in Christ-centered teaching from an early age.

We are pleased to offer ministries to children from birth to 5th grade on Sunday mornings during both gatherings. In the preschool and elementary age classes, children will engage in age appropriate activities and Bible lessons from the Gospel Project. We are pleased to have resources for kids with special needs. Click here to complete a form about your child’s specific needs to help our ministry care for them.

We have chosen to use The Gospel Project for Kids in each of our classes.  The Gospel Project for Kids follows a chronological timeline of Bible events, presenting the story of redemption through Jesus in an age-appropriate format like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, large group teaching, and small group discussions. There are also take-home resources including Big Picture Cards and activity pages, giving you the opportunity to take an active role in your children’s spiritual growth at home throughout the week.  Find out more about the Gospel Project here

First Time Visitors

If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive a check-in tag and security stickers. The stickers serve two purposes:

  • Parent Paging – If we need you during the gathering, the number on your sticker will be displayed on the screens in the auditorium.

  • Child Pick-up – You must present your portion of the sticker before we release your child.

After families begin attending on a regular basis, we will have you set up an electronic check-in account via our Planning Center Online system, which makes weekly check in significantly quicker and easier.

If you would like more information about Steadfast kids' ministries, or if you would like to get involved in serving our kids, email kristen.burt@steadfastavl.org.
